So I'm almost finished downloading the first episode of Merlin, and then I'm going to download the first episode of True Blood. I want a new fandom. Not that I don't love bandom, but it feels about that time and I'm easily swayed by my flist. Not that I'm reading any of the posts because I don't want to be spoiled! Have you read the Sookie Stakehouse books? They are fabulous. I've only seen bits and pieces of True Blood so I'm not sure how the series holds up to the books but I'm addicted to the books.

I haven't read the books! Which means I won't be disappointed if the show doesn't hold up, right? :)

Crusoe! It's all about the UST and angst! Of course, the fandom seems to only exist in my own mind, but still. The only new show where guys have some chemistry together.

It's on NBC on Friday nights. I posted my initial thoughts here. I'm a sucker for hurt/comfort, and angst, and UST (and hot men with pretty accents) so this show hits all my buttons. Suspension of disbelief is definitely required, though... the man can build a treehouse any child would envy, but he can't manage to build a boat to get off the island? =P

I was feeling really into Torchwood for the first series and now I'm kind of meh about the whole thing. I lose interest too quickly. :(

loving both TB and Merlin...not in a fandom sort of way...i'm still enjoying SPN/J2 too much for that...

I was never able to get into SPN in a fannish way. I think for about a week once I liked it, but it was never my thing. Sometimes I read the RPS as long as it has JDM in it. Om nom nom.
