[It takes a while for anyone to speak. When someone finally does, it's a soft, resigned voice. It obviously belongs to a child, but it belongs to a very sad child.]

Does... does anyone know where Mommy is? Her name is Dahlia.

She... she probably wants me to go to her.

Y-yes. Yes it is...

[Sorry, Coach, this child's rather timid. Vicious abuse does that.]

[She'll just... be waiting for you to send her off to be beaten, now...]

Y-yeah. Mommy wouldn't be very happy if I was walking around without her.

[Okay, okay, Coach. that little girl is supposed to be around her somewhere, and it sounds like she may be a little shell-shocked about what happened not to longs ago, with the zombies.]

C'mon, Coach, you should be able t' find yourself a little girl...

[Pray you know what you're getting yourself into, Coach. This child will be a lot of work to take care of if you let her latch on.

The small child is sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall and staring at the ceiling, hugging her knees tight. She looks really scrawny and so pale it's like she hasn't seen any sun since she was born. Along with that, there are dark circles under her eyes and shadows behind her expressionless face that no child should ever have a part of.]

[She looks up at him, but she doesn't meet his eyes, instead focusing just below them to avoid eye contact.]

Yes, sir.
