I remember Tianamen Square really well. I was so young. I remember watching the man in front of the tank. I had no idea what was happening or why, except that I could tell it was something incredible.

That's really funny to me since we're the same age. I didn't remember the first Gulf War at all, and I didn't remember the Wall coming down either.

Yeah, he did that.
I think it was while he was living with Jason.

Corinne, what the hell were you thinking dating that guy? I mean, looking back at it, Jimi and I were a weird couple, but wow.

I sort of vaguely remember the Apollo moon landing in 1969. I mostly remember my dad being really excited by it, but as a 6 year-old, i didn't understand that it was such a major achievement. I also remember the Vietnam War, Trudeaumania, Watergate and the Munich Olympics. With that one, whenever i heard them refer to "guerillas" on the news, i thought they meant "gorillas". I was confused.

Yes, i am teh olds.

It's not my first memory but you reminded me...

In 2003 when we invaded Iraq again I remember where I was when I heard the news...backstage before a performance of Les Miserables. Weeks prior I was downtown protesting our leader and his incessant drive to invade a country we had no business invading. My efforts were futile. And as we prepared ourselves for a performance about a student uprising against an excessive and tyrannical government, we were incredibly humbled and angry and fearful all at once. That night we gave THE MOST passionate performance by far.
