I loved this. So often who and what Gabriel is gets sidelined because of Sam/Gabriel (which i'm not knocking BTW...love those two as a pairing) and it's really nice to see a piece thats wholey about him.

I love his relationship with Anna and the little flashes back to heaven and the war and so on. Beautifully done.

I keep thinking that you've written my favorite Gabriel fic, and... then you write one I like more. It's very confusing. XD This is just perfect. The scenes with Anna, naturally, were my favorite, especially the one in the hospital, which just... hurt my heart. In a good way.

"You're not a fallen angel, Gabriel. You're just misplaced."
That is my favorite line in the whole thing. It... just... yes. And that ending makes me want to hug Gabriel a lot.
