*gleeface* That was pretty cool. Also, the perspectives each angel has on the other and the how you wrote them as not being well-acquainted were refreshingly original. Most of the ones I've read have the two as once being very close.

Love this, the battle scene was really good, and I really like the way you've delved into Gabriel's psyche, the casual devil-may-care attitude, hiding all the love he still has for his family.

He left because he hated the fighting. Anafiel Fell because she was bored and tired of it all. Castiel didn't so much fall as tripped over an ottoman and faceplanted into the carpet with absolutely no clue how the heck he got there.
