Manfred likes Clark pretty well! He has no inkling that anything is up, because he's sort of dense, and if anything he feels sorry that Clark was around during the monster-out.

Honestly, Manfred isn't particularly freaked out by Imoen's touched-ness; he isn't exactly from consensus reality himself, so it's not that strange to him. (He's a bit confused about why the non sequitur mind flayers, but that can be forgiven, because mind flayers sound sort of cool.) He finds Imoen... well, interesting, and wouldn't mind talking more with her.

Ahh, well. Mind Flayers are not only fresh on her mind because I took her from a part of her canon where the party's recently delt with being captured by a bunch of them, but from the encounter they had, Mind Flayers come across as rather manipulative and fond of mind games. She kind of didn't get around to communicating that, heh.
