Jack looked a little guilty. "That’s not to say you don't have a nice face," he added encouragingly.
He admired the nice gold pocket watch that he had acquired. He flipped up the lid and shook it. "About four-thirty," he called gaily to Vendetta's crew. "Four thirty? No..." He turned the watch upside down. "Belay that, it’s ten o'clock. Blasted Roman numerals."
Now THIS is the Jack Sparrow we all know and love. Bravo. *grins*
And yer latest installment on the Mary-You story is nothing short of brilliant. AWEsome ...
*g* Great stuff, and I adore the PPC crash-test dummy.
Love Anamaria in the regular fic! :) You write her like a normal, real woman, annoyed at appropriate points, and as a capable captain. *That's* what minor chars should be written like...not 'Sued out of all recognition.
And Jack's problems with the 'Sue...er, kidnappee...who didn't want to leave were amusing. Especially when he insulted her, and picked her dad's pockets. Very IC.
