In the midst of the chaos and carnage, bystanders spotted a man who appeared to be Middle Eastern and who was running from the scene. He was seized, taken to a hospital for treatment of a leg wound, and questioned at length. Since the total were two bombs detonated within the same block... I guess that by induction it'd point to one sole nutter, or two... probably not even affiliated with a group. It would be foolish to speculate having no further evidence. For all we know, it could be one guy who thinks Edgar Rice Burroughs told him to do it through one of his novels.

That was my guess as well, that it was at best 2-3 individuals with no real affiliation.

Wow, this is awful. I can't add much to this other than that I'm always disappointed by people acting like that.

There is one "nutter" who is saying that the Boston Globe tweeted that there was going to be a "controlled explosion" yesterday.

Yeah, right. Even if that report is accurate it would be foolhardy to believe that they would stage it near the finish lines of one of the world's most prestigious running events.

As I posted in my own journal one hate monger posted:

Washington is running the online conversation and using the media for an illegal war. Sandy Hook after hurricane Sandy was already proven to be another PSYOPS story with made up names. Everything about this event was staged. All "victims" will be actor for the DoD. This is what the government is doing to justify it's existence and to cover up the truth leaking out now about the Coup, the real Obama cover up, the illegal war, the media blackouts, and this last mock election.

I'd like to ask the poster is if "Washington is running the online conversation and using the media for an illegal war." how did his post make it on-line ( ... )

That's not hate mongering... that's someone so delusional, he's having light refreshments with Alice and the Cheshire Cat.

Don't forget about how a fair part of the media, rather than doing the right thing and focusing on building support for those impacted by the tragedy, are instead camping out on the front lawn of a building where the police happened to mention only that a person of interest lived. This isn't a suspect, or even someone accused of it, but someone with whom they wanted to speak. The media is grilling other residents about "how safe do you feel knowing a suspected terrorist lives in the same building", trying to gather pure gossip, and attempting other B.S. of the like. Rather than help, they're committed to doing even more harm. Even now, there are a half dozen cameras recording constantly in hopes that the building will explode or that someone will go crazy and do something stupid. In my opinion, that's just as sick and disgusting as wrongfully accusing someone of the crime simply because he wanted to enjoy the public event.

you know that was my first thought when they said they grabbed a saudi man. and later when he said he had nothing to do with it i was like. Wait don't terrorists Want you to know they did it! this man is not claiming anything. sounds like a scared guy that got caught at the wrong time.

at the same time that this was horrific and the bombing was horrific the fact that so many people were there tearing away at obstacles and trying hard to help others when there could have been more bombs was quite inspiring.
