When: Right after Kyrie's arrival.
Where: floor D, room 136.
Rating: PG
Summary: Nero goes out of his way to meet Kyrie upon her arrival, fearful of her safety amongst the weirdos here whilst at the same time, overjoyous to see her again. Aw. ♥
Warnings: Slight angst, maybe fluff. Time differences make things awkward

Kyrie looked up from her chair as she heard the knock on her door. That was probably Nero. For once in her life, she was nervous. She had never felt nervous when she talked to Nero. But now...after what she saw last time she had to wonder what exactly Nero was doing

His tension eased once he finally saw her, just out of pure her being here. Even if the issue may somehow involve her- there was just something about that smile..

It was something he terribly missed.

"Kyrie.." He let out in a calm tone, coming inside and instantly close to her- placing a human hand upon her shoulder to greet the younger woman. He couldn't help it, he just wanted to verify that this was, in fact, real. And judging by the feel of her usual warmth...

It was.

"... It really is you." His expression went soft in the coming to reality that she was truly with him again.

Sure... There were dangers here, of course- but with them together in this place, Nero could protect her- and this knowledge alone was far better than the feeling of her being at home alone near a potential demonic threat.

She placed her hand on top of his, offering a smile to him before holding his hand in hers. It was like nothing had changed between them. How she wished she could stay like this with him, and not have to face reality...

She looked down at her hands that were holding Nero's human hand. Her eyes seemed to dim a bit as she traveled up his torso and looked at his arm that was 'injured'. She knew the truth...but she wasn't sure how to bring it up. The last thing she wanted to do was to upset Nero. But she was upset too when she first found out. She wanted to know why he hid it from her.

"Yes...we're together again," she said in her calm, reassuring voice. She lifted her head and looked up at Nero's face, not letting go of his hand.

The gesture felt good~ her soft hand on his... but.. the good feeling was short lived as he could immediately notice her glance at his inhuman arm... the one that he had played off still being injured after that incident not too long ago.

Though it was well covered- to be totally honest, Nero felt very self-concious even when people payed a glance at it. It made him want to move it out of view, but he's grown to realize that its much better to just leave it be as if it really were wounded... at least, it was far more convincing that way, anyway.

"... How long have you been here... Do you even know how you made it here?" Nero's questions immediately came out a bit too fluently, almost as if it were a dead giveaway that he was trying to divert the attention to a different subject.. one that he wanted to know about, nonetheless. Nero would have been ashamed if it turns out Kyrie's been here for too much longer than he's come to notice.
