It only happened to be a moment or two later when the red-headed bookman heir poked his head into the room, hair a bit disheveled and expression rather sheepish. Naturally he'd had to change his shirt into something more fitting to work on crafts so at the last second he'd changed off into a tanktop along with his usual white pants. The material of his eyepatch had been bothering him lately for some strange reason so he found himself daring to go out into public with his eye uncovered. This only meant that his one eye was it's bright green color while the other looked faded out and hazy-colored due to the fact that here he was blind in that eye ( ... )

When the sound of foot steps entered the room moments after she had and a familiar, friendly voice echoed soon after; Nia looked up in delight to see Lavi standing there. "Of course you are not late Lavi-san! It is quite fine,"She looked a little surprised when she immediatly noticed he did not have his eyepatch on this time but regardless she stood up to hurry to his side and greet him whole-heartedly with a friendly hug. Nia pulled away and admired him," Another year older is that right Lavi-san?"

She smiled kindly at him. Regardless of not having his eyepatch he still looked so youthful and handsome. Nia led him back to the table," Do come and sit down Lavi-san."

Even for a second he had noticed how she'd been a bit surprised at seeing his eye without it's eyepatch, but knew it was a natural reaction and he was only too happy when she came over to hug him. With a small laugh, he hugged her back lightly before she pulled back, and he offered her a grin at her words. "ehe, yeah. m'now 20~" He seemed rather proud of that fact, though along with that, he was surprised at knowing he'd been here about two years now.

It took a moment before he heard her speak again and he blinked a bit before he moved to sit down, getting comfortable before he glanced up to her with a smile on his lips. "m'appreciatin' the fact that you're willin' to spend time with me t' do this, Nia" There was a slight sheepish tone to his voice as he spoke, a hand absently scratching the back of his head as he spoke.

She laughed merrily as he seemed to be rather boastful of his age, already feeling motherly as she gently hugged him once again. "Yes, it such a wonderful thing to be one year older! I have never known much of my true birthdate but it seems fine to me to celebrate instead on becoming one year older with friends," Nia replied as she thought back to her times of celebration with the friends she had met, they had given her a birthday of when Simon found her. Nia smiled softly at the memory.

Nia blinked and looked at Lavi confused. Was it nice of her? She had just wanted to spend time with Lavi after all and it was the perfect opportunity to do some catching up as well. There might be much to discuss. She smiled at the younger boy," I am always willing to spend time with you Lavi-san," Nia said sweetly as she moved to sit next to him and gently took the paper in her hands.

"Lemeza-san had been kind before to teach me how," she said.
