Awakening in a foreign room, away from everything he knew? Not a good feeling. Even worse? Awakening alone. Yet Lloyd wasn’t so alone, after all. He wasn’t sure what to feel at the revelation that his best friend was trapped in this strange new world along with him. Relief? Fear? Worry? Perhaps all of the above. Damn it, I...

He wasn’t sure if it was a good thing, but. Admittedly, relief was winning out over the rest of the emotions plaguing the boy’s troubled thoughts. Relief that he wasn’t alone, relief that his... That Zelos was there. There to ease his anxiety with those confident smirks and flamboyant antics. There to... He... Yeah. He was glad Zelos was there, even if it was pretty selfish. Wherever here even is...The wait for his companion to find his room seemed to stretch on for eternity-though logically, he knew it had been mere minutes,-- and the young brunette found himself pacing uneasily by the room’s door. He checked it not once, but three-make that four-times to be sure it was indeed unlocked for his friend. Was it ( ... )

Zelos was practically stunned when Lloyd embraced him. It wasn't that it was unpleasant, no, definitely not that, just... unexpected--very unexpected. The twin swordsman had always seemed to reluctantly - if not begrudgingly - accept his affections, and now....

A lot of things were weird in this place. Maybe, for once, Lloyd was comforted by his attentions? For some reason, he had a hard time believing that. Maybe he was reciprocating to placate Zelos? If so, he was taking things too seriously.

Zelos leaned back, and studied his friend's face curiously. Yep, he was definitely taking this way too seriously. Time to go on the offensive.

"What's that look for?" he asked. Hoping the ole monkey see, monkey do bit would do the trick, he lit up a bright grin. "Cheer up! We're together now, aren't we? There's nothing to worry about anymore!"
