What do you mean 'personal space'?

Summary: Iggy's going to go stay at Fang's room. And it's not for just a little while either.

Once he was sure the mattress was clear of the door, he dropped it unceremoniously. The bag and blankets soon followed. He'd worry about where it should go later. "If you had been alone, without your flock, through months of horrors and maddening boredom, you'd know."

He sat where he was, on the floor instead of on the askew mattress which was only about an inch away. But the floor was fine, he didn't care. So long as he was sitting down ... and with family. He hugged his pillow against his chest.

If his little stunt didn't convince him that something bad happened...then what he said did. Iggy was never one to get this worked up unless it was something big. What could have happened since he got here? It wasn't like he did at least stop by to see him, but this was the first time he saw him...today?

Sitting on the bed he stared at his flock member. Was something different about his eye? ....He wasn't sure what it was but they didn't look the same. "Iggy...What happened? There was concern in his voice.

He hesitated, but decided that there was no reason to keep this hidden. "One of those big zombie guys ... was pestering Nill. She was afraid. So ... so I went and kicked its ass. It had backup, they always do ... I was ready for that ... but ... " Getting pummeled was okay, he could handle it. This ... hadn't been okay at all.

" ... there was ... this lady. They took me to her. And she ... did stuff ... " He cut off and buried his face in the pillow. It wasn't fair damn it! Why did this kind of stuff always happen to him?

Nill was the girl that had wings too...he could guess as much that it was. So she was the one that Iggy had talked about before. He remembered her telling him, that the grunts were after her...he just told her to stay in her room. For Iggy that must have not been good enough, well if someone had tried to mess with Max he would have done the same. But there was a big difference, Max, could handle herself...most of the time. This girl reminded him of Angel, though without the mind controlling, he hoped.

He got punished then and they beat him, like he told him. If that's what happened then he wouldn't be this upset. Lady? Was it the bad doctor he was told about, then again what doctors were good? "Ig...What did she do to you?" Leaning closer he looked at his eyes...were those small cuts on his face.

There was a moment of tension, where he held his breath and focused on nothing in particular. Did he have to say it? To really explain? Why couldn't he just let this go?!

... because if it was Fang that had been hurt, Iggy wouldn't have let it go either. He sighed and dropped the pillow, letting it fall to the floor with an audible flop. Slowly and carefully, he lifted his shirt. Across his torso were long, carefully placed lines of stitches where incisions had been. They knew enough about doctors to know what exploratory surgery was like, and that's what this had been. There were other signs too. Small marks from the surgery she'd done on his eyes. A similar now-stitched incision along one wing made more obvious by the lack of feathers along it. A place on his leg that ached fiercely. But he didn't know just what she'd done. And that's what scared him.
