Garrus' reflection was not the only one who was on the hunt. And if it was one thing Samus Aran knew, it was how to hunt down and destroy a threat. And that was what this...thing was. She had no idea what it did with the real Vakarian, or if he was even still alive, but she had to stop it before it harmed anyone else.

And it was in one of the hallways that she finally caught sight of her target, crouching down, ready to spring and fight it, sure her armor would defend her from those vicious claws...

It stopped, head tilting crazily on its too supple neck. Someone was behind it. Was it one of those it sought? Or another?

Slowly, it turned, hand going to the pistol holstered at its hip. It had no cause to use it yet. The boy and the woman hadn't needed this level of education. But... maybe another would.

Its mandibles tried to twitch, but they had been wired shut. "What is it you want...?" it asked, barely raising its voice.

Samus didn't leave her crouch, raising her arm cannon threateningly. It wouldn't work here, of course, but perhaps this thing didn't know that. If it did, she'd work from there. If nothing else, it was still large and heavy and she still had more than enough strength to cave in a skull with it. It wouldn't be her most glamorous victory, but that was beside the point.

"I'm here to stop you," Samus said evenly, not a trace of fear or hesitation in her voice, mangled through it was by her helmet. "You won't hurt anyone else in this place. This ends now."

It simply stared at her, as if trying to decipher her words. The electronic eyes shuttered closed once--their version of blinking. It didn't appear to understand at first. The stranger--woman, Samus, warrior--was in a combat crouch, that much was apparent.

And then it laughed. It was a deep, rolling sound without any real mirth.

"Hurt anyone else?" it repeated, mockingly. "Tell me... Vigilante... who have I hurt?"

It was looking. Looking for the ones that had hurt it, that had left it all alone. For the ones it hated, and it hated most of them.

The chains clinked as it roamed the halls, bringing bitter cold with it. It had not found the Enemy, or the one who left. Not yet. But it would. The original was safely trapped where it could not interefere, but deep down, he wanted this too.

The reflection paused when it noticed someone in the hall. It was... familiar. Not the Enemy, but an enemy. It paused, considering. It was time to settle old scores.

A ripple of tension went down its spine. Wires popped and sparked, sending a signal shooting through what was left of its organic brain. Someone else was here.

Its head snapped around, eyes focusing with a barely noticeable whirr. That one looked different. Stranger. The one called Rush-a.

"You are not the right one," it said.

Right one, wrong one, there was very little difference between the two. Maybe it didn't realize this wasn't the original, maybe it didn't care. Either way, it wasn't going to let this one go.

One of the chains flexed in the air, then flung itself towards the mechanical creature, aimed to loop around it and drag it closer. It only had the pipe, after all.

For a moment, it allowed the other reflection's chains to encircle it. No matter. The other was armed with a pipe of some kind. That was all.

It drew its pistol as it was dragged forward. "You and I stand for truth," it said. "Fighting amongst ourselves... is foolish."

Things were getting really weird. First mirrors, and then strange reflections. Well.... maybe not exactly strange, or at least, not half as strange or disturbing as what he'd caught off the computer, but unusual, nonetheless. The boy in the mirror grinned back at him guilelessly, and Firo couldn't help but wave back with an uneven smile of his own.

He hadn't stayed long in his room- it was by pure curiosity that he had gone out of his room, and much to his dismay would find the entire halls covered in mirrors. "No escapin' 'em, huh?" he sighed, fixing his hat as he hesitated in front of another mirror, finding his younger self parallel to him. The boy grinned and shrugged, then blinked and pointed down the hall.

"Eh?" The young Camorrista glanced down the way.

That voice.

Someone it had been looking for. One of the few it had sought.

Slowly, it turned, ignoring the image of its Real One in the mirrors around it. There was the boy. The one who was with Ennis. The reflection blinked, eyes shuttering closed. And then took a few steps forward.

"Firo Prochainezo..." it said, smoothly, without a hint of the hesitation that usually marked Garrus' pronunciation of the name. "There you are~"

"Whoa." He stopped abruptly, not two steps from his previous position. While that definitely had to be a Turian further down the hall, but that sure wasn't Garrus.

Eyes narrowing, Firo shifted, tensed as the other started towards him. He sure didn't like the sound of that tone. "Who th' hell are you!" he shouted. "And how do you know who I am?"

It kept on walking. Little flickers of a more familiar face appeared in the mirrors around it, trying to shout at Firo, to break through, but to no avail. The reflection stopped a few feet from the boy, mechanized mandibles twitching faintly.

"I am someone you know," it said, head tilting sideways almost enough to rest on a shoulder. "He knew you... and I know all he knows..."

Ladd's reflection paced down the corridor, talking to himself. That is, his real self. Ladd was infuriated - His reflection had lied to him, of all people. A simple swap of his prosthetic for the gun had resulted in his mirror image trading places with him. He'd been pounding and smashing at the mirror, and eventually submitted when the fake started ranting about killing everybody. It was just as fun to watch! It was himself, after all.

Several hostile thuds rung out from his door, which he opened with caution. He saw who was outside and swung the door open, as if welcoming the visitor. In contradiction, he raised the shotgun and held it point-blanc to the turian's body.

(ooc: Let's say this happened before Mirror!Ladd raids the cafeteria. Whatever. I'm guessing the slug'll deflect off Saren's armor? He'll aim for the head once he realises they're deflecting back at him.)

Romana's reflection stumbled down the stairs and out into the hallway. She was moving as fast as she could despite her injuries, stopping occasionally to catch her breath--and shout for Leela.

She had to find Leela. She needed her bodyguard. Leela needed her! They were all they had. Even their K-9s had deserted them for other masters... without each other, they had nothing left in the world. In either of their worlds.

She leaned against the wall at the end of the hallway, calling out for her friend before she'd really processed what was going on in the midst of the small crowd gathered there. Leela could find her if she could just hear her voice. Even ragged and tinged with panic, she would know it was Romana's. And then she would come back. That was how things worked.

"Leela! Leela--?"
