And it was in one of the hallways that she finally caught sight of her target, crouching down, ready to spring and fight it, sure her armor would defend her from those vicious claws...

Slowly, it turned, hand going to the pistol holstered at its hip. It had no cause to use it yet. The boy and the woman hadn't needed this level of education. But... maybe another would.
Its mandibles tried to twitch, but they had been wired shut. "What is it you want...?" it asked, barely raising its voice.

"I'm here to stop you," Samus said evenly, not a trace of fear or hesitation in her voice, mangled through it was by her helmet. "You won't hurt anyone else in this place. This ends now."

And then it laughed. It was a deep, rolling sound without any real mirth.
"Hurt anyone else?" it repeated, mockingly. "Tell me... Vigilante... who have I hurt?"

The chains clinked as it roamed the halls, bringing bitter cold with it. It had not found the Enemy, or the one who left. Not yet. But it would. The original was safely trapped where it could not interefere, but deep down, he wanted this too.
The reflection paused when it noticed someone in the hall. It was... familiar. Not the Enemy, but an enemy. It paused, considering. It was time to settle old scores.

Its head snapped around, eyes focusing with a barely noticeable whirr. That one looked different. Stranger. The one called Rush-a.
"You are not the right one," it said.

One of the chains flexed in the air, then flung itself towards the mechanical creature, aimed to loop around it and drag it closer. It only had the pipe, after all.

It drew its pistol as it was dragged forward. "You and I stand for truth," it said. "Fighting amongst ourselves... is foolish."

He hadn't stayed long in his room- it was by pure curiosity that he had gone out of his room, and much to his dismay would find the entire halls covered in mirrors. "No escapin' 'em, huh?" he sighed, fixing his hat as he hesitated in front of another mirror, finding his younger self parallel to him. The boy grinned and shrugged, then blinked and pointed down the hall.
"Eh?" The young Camorrista glanced down the way.

Someone it had been looking for. One of the few it had sought.
Slowly, it turned, ignoring the image of its Real One in the mirrors around it. There was the boy. The one who was with Ennis. The reflection blinked, eyes shuttering closed. And then took a few steps forward.
"Firo Prochainezo..." it said, smoothly, without a hint of the hesitation that usually marked Garrus' pronunciation of the name. "There you are~"

Eyes narrowing, Firo shifted, tensed as the other started towards him. He sure didn't like the sound of that tone. "Who th' hell are you!" he shouted. "And how do you know who I am?"
Reply
"I am someone you know," it said, head tilting sideways almost enough to rest on a shoulder. "He knew you... and I know all he knows..."

Several hostile thuds rung out from his door, which he opened with caution. He saw who was outside and swung the door open, as if welcoming the visitor. In contradiction, he raised the shotgun and held it point-blanc to the turian's body.
(ooc: Let's say this happened before Mirror!Ladd raids the cafeteria. Whatever. I'm guessing the slug'll deflect off Saren's armor? He'll aim for the head once he realises they're deflecting back at him.)

She had to find Leela. She needed her bodyguard. Leela needed her! They were all they had. Even their K-9s had deserted them for other masters... without each other, they had nothing left in the world. In either of their worlds.
She leaned against the wall at the end of the hallway, calling out for her friend before she'd really processed what was going on in the midst of the small crowd gathered there. Leela could find her if she could just hear her voice. Even ragged and tinged with panic, she would know it was Romana's. And then she would come back. That was how things worked.
"Leela! Leela--?"
