Allelujah was closer to the Cafeteria than Lyle was. He was sitting already at a table, sipping cup of coffee and slowly eating (more like nibbling on and off) a donut that seemed pretty safe to eat.

Allelujah had a lot on his mind, mostly concerning Hallelujah. He didn't want to believe Hallelujah did such a violent thing to a boy. Not only that, he didn't even know this Lelouch person that well. Hallelujah wasn't killing for their survival anymore, he was killing because he was "bored" and blaming him for it. The guilt was enough to make him leave the room and head back to his original one.

He wanted to get out of this place. He wanted to see Marie and save her.

He didn't even notice Lyle enter the cafeteria, as he was so distracted with his thoughts (before the accident, he would have picked such movements up). He brought some coffee to his lips sipping at it slowly. Maybe talking to Lyle would be beneficial to the both of them.

Lyle surveyed the cafeteria and quickly caught site of the other Meister, who looked just as remembered. That was a plus, that their timelines weren't so far off that he could not recognize the other.

He stepped up to the table, giving Allelujah a small wave before sitting down on the seat opposite him.

"Hey."

By now Allelujah saw Lockon, no, Lyle Dylandy. He just stared at him in a mild state of shock. They looked so much a like, like twins. He didn't even realize he was staring so long.

"Excuse me, I'm sorry." He turned his head to the side, feeling rather embarrassed, his hand shaking a little, spilling some of the coffee on the table. "I didn't mean to be rude."

By the time Lyle sat down, Allelujah had gained composure over himself. He set his coffee down and looked at him. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Lockon." The name was odd to say again, it felt like it didn't roll off his tongue correctly.

To his credit, Lyle held in the sigh he had wanted to let out at the staring. He reminded himself that this was much better than when no one had warned Allelujah and the other man had looked at him like he was the walking dead.

"It happens." He shrugged before looking at the little puddle of coffee. "Need a napkin?"

"Likewise," Allelujah had bothered with pleasantries, so Lyle felt one good turn deserved another. He stuck his hand out in the offer of a handshake. "And feel free to call me Lyle. Tieria spilled the beans, so the codename does me no good, here."
