She followed him closely, wading through the snow without worry and without seeming to notice the cold. As they went, she watched the doorways, looking for signs of any followers, or anything else. Nothing but snow. Which was good. She didn't think she could kill Roxas' stupid friend, and keep up the pregnancy charade at the same time. She was supposed to be sick after all.
"Where did he say he lived?" she asked, squeezing his hand tighter. "Sooner we're out of the hall... the better..."

And then it was brought.
It felt like Axel had been yanked through all of the solid materials that made up the door to his room. Maybe it was even true; how else would he have been stuck on the outside in such a short time? His body ached as he tried moving away from the candles pinning him down, the main one stuck deep in his chest. His attitude didn't get any better, either. And it seemed like D-floor had several other targets, too.
"Ugh," Axel groaned, one arm now free and hanging limply in front of him. Boy, did he feel terrible.

The boy paused abruptly once he turned to look back down the way they were headed, blue eyes wide. It was hard to miss the black. It was even harder to miss the blazing red.
"Axel!" Nothing could have prepared him for what he saw, and the intent to knock some sense into his friend and fellow Nobody's head was quickly replaced with the natural alarm and concern. Roxas hurried down the hall, but not so fast that he'd be dragging Midna, although he trusted the woman to keep pace.

It didn't help that Roxas had hauled her towards him before she had a second to form a more coherent, and helpful thought. She kept up, mostly by virtue of having longer legs. But she couldn't really blame the breakneck speed. The boy cared for this idiot. That was admirable.
But mental debates on moral virtues could wait. Right now, there was a redhead stuck to a door like a butterfly on a mount. "How do we get him down?" she asked, peering at Axel curiously. After a moment, she added, "Roxas. There's no blood..."
That was a good thing, right?

Axel still seemed annoyed from the earlier moments of waiting and random Christmas carols sung loudly from Lemeza on the other door, but he managed a smirk. "Hey there," he greeted weakly, his chest constantly rising and falling with each quick breath. "So nice of you two to drop by..."
The flame was glaringly red. "...together!" he added with a happy yet wistful sigh. "Oh, you two are just warming me up inside like this! It's so beautiful! Lovely!"
