Who: Lockon in_my_sights and Rinali Li unchosen_queen When: After his post. Where: D Hallway Rating: PG Summary: Rinali wants to see what Lockon looks like in his clothing. Warnings: Don't think so?
Lockon felt an unfamiliar tug to his stockings where they were tucked into his dark britches with each step as he walked from his hall to the stairwell. The faint sound of a harpsicord died out as the door shut behind him and he made his way up to D Floor. He paused before the hall door and fingered the lapels of his emerald-green waistcoat embroidered with a similarly colored thread, only discernable as he turned in the light.
With an idle pull at one of his shirt cuffs, he opened the stairwell door and entered D Floor, where he was greeted with a lush forest scene, quite unexpected. He stepped into the verdure with his mouth agape, still holding the door open.
She was feeling utterly playful when she saw the door open up and hung upside down from the vine she was climbing, holding her skirt down. "You made it!" She giggled and used one hand to grip the vine, flipping down onto the ground.
It felt so nice to not have the weight of her boots on her legs. Feeling utterly free of devotion to the Innocence, yet she would never forsake it in order to save her world and her brother. "And I was right..you do look awfully handsome in that colour." She smiled.
He was slightly startled when Rinali seemingly dropped out of a tree to greet him. "Ah," he said, smoothing one poofy white sleeve with the opposite hand nervously. He even had a few richly jeweled rings as if he were the lordling of a county. "I've never worn anything like this before, so I didn't take anything off in case I - " but he stopped when he saw exactly what Rinali was wearing.
Then there were no more words.
He reached out absently as he stared at her and gripped her hair ribbon lightly between two fingers.
"You look very kingly." She smiled and tilted her head when she heard him pause. It was when he took one of the ribbons between his fingers did she blush, laughing sheepishly.
"I know..I look silly but it's strangly comfortable." She confessed with eyes casting down before peeking back up at him. Idly, she raised a hand and swept some of his hair from his eyes, always finding the mix of green with his brown something lovely. "Lots of frills though, hm?" She teased.
He recovered enough to realize she was speaking to him, but not quiet enough to respond accurately. He nodded and shook his head in turn, hoping to dispel any thought that she should be using the word 'silly' or any of its synonyms to describe her appearance.
After a quietly strangled noise, he attempted speech. "You look... you look," frills? "Oh, yes," he responded and dropped her hair ribbon in favor of self-consciously touching his collar of cascading folds of cloth.
