It was Meet The Pratts by Verity Watson (http://www.bloodshedverse.com/stories.php?go=chapters&no=7067): it had that song, Victoria, so perfect for Spike, but I'd never heard it, so I looked on YouTube and I loved it, long-story-short now I'm a Kinks' fan---the funny thing is that the writer told me she didn't have the Kinks' version in mind when she wrote her story!
