30k, baby! I may not reach my 50 by my birthday as I wanted, but I'm pretty happy to be this far, this quickly. The story, though... is definitely not going to be just 50,000 words long. Not by a long shot. I'm going to have to hustle if I want to actually finish the first draft within November. Or cut large swathes out of the plot.

Oh, whatever, honey. This thing isn't going anywhere. I haven't even posted the last few days on the comm I made for it, because it is so full of moments that make me shake my head.

(Also, plot? A mythical beast. Don't make me laugh.)
