Peyton: *sitting by me, both his arms around me* Am I hugging YOU or the BABY?

Me: I think you're hugging ME.

Peyton: *scootching his arms down a little lower* How 'bout now?

I went to check Facebook a minute ago and Peyton was the one logged in.
His "inbox" was up and I saw that he had been talking with his Mimi (Jeff's mom).
So I clicked to see what he was writing and got a good laugh...

Why HIM... WHY?!?! The boy whose parents flew to Seattle and missed his birthday (three years ago). Why did it have to happen AGAIN? Peytie's third piano recital was tonight. Mabry was the proudest little sister. She kept looking back and smiling all through his songs. I wish I could have grabbed a shot of the two of them hugging before he took his seat after he was through playing. It was so amazingly sweet. I hope everyone saw it. :D

I was getting ready in the bathroom yesterday morning and could hear the kids in the boys' room. Apparently, they were all piling up on Parker's bed hanging out together. Then Parker got worried that someone would fall and hurt themselves on the hard wood floor, so he placed pillows around his bed. After that, the following took place...

Not only does he look SO handsome in them, but he's SO excited to SEE!!! The best revelation? He didn't know our building was brick. HA! He said, "I thought it was just plain redish plaster or something". Man... that's some bad eyesight, people!! But just look at him... isn't it adorable?!?!
