I guess we have to be thankful for small gestures, hm?

Why? I don't see why they're trying to keep us here if some of us want to leave.

I can understand, somewhat. They're existing just as much as we are. I wish they would let the ones who needed to leave go, though..

...yeah, if they were even nice enough for that.

If they won't let us out though, we'll find a way out.

Alaska? Isn't that part of the United States of America?

Yeah. Why?

Oh, I'm sorry.

I haven't really met anyone from America before. The Republic of Greater Eastern Asia has banned most American products.

...the Republic of what?

You got sucked back in here.

...yep. Great, isn't it? After all that work, getting out.

Haven't seen you around. Thought you might've gotten out too.

I got out by accident. It was... well, the welcome home part was strange, with everyone going "hey, you're alive".

Husband's dead now, though, so I'm happy.

Didn't have much of a "welcome home" thing. It was more like, "Holy shit, I thought both of you DIED."

...didn't even know you were married.

A whuuuut? It could be worse, I guess.

...Found a 4th yet?

Well, I don't think upgrades are supposed to be worse. But they're pretty useless to us.

Nope. I thought I asked you to do that?

I guess that's true. I guess I should check for anything different. Maybe the kitchen in Shao-san's and Hazard-san's old apartment got fixed.

Mmm... I'll find someone. Anyone you don't want me asking?

What, after you guys blew it up?

...that list could potentially go for a while.

What kind of self-sustaining woman doesn't know how to cook? Maybe it's a hint to learn.

A self-sustaining, single woman who has two jobs that take up more than enough time in her life.

What kind of man believes a woman needs to know how to cook to be a woman?

Relying on other people to do basic things for you will come back to bite you in the ass some day.

Didn't say the woman part was why you had to be able to cook - 'self-sustaining' was the important bit. Of course, I was assuming you are self-sustaining.

Who says I rely on anyone else to do anything for me? Note the word single. I do my own work.
