Mom's doing well, thanks everyone!

I've been at the hospital for just over 24 hours now. Yesterday was long, 3.5 hours of surgery, 3 hours of recovery. Finally got to the private room and it's been ok since. My mom spent maybe 2 hours after that in and out of consciousness, but once that passed she seems ok. She is still laying in bed having not gotten up and is on a clear liquids

I found myself thinking that a hospital isn't a bad place to have a bad reaction to a bug bite as someone there should know how to take care of you...

Hope you feel refreshed and renewed by the shower and new clothes (and rain?). I'm glad your mom has you to be there with her, and our thoughts are with you both.
