[Well, they don't have to. It's just... the stairs are safer, in Lily's opinion. Off she goes down the hall at a leisurely place, trying to walk slowly so little Link can keep up.]

[He's actually kind of glad when she suggests the stairs; he really doesn't like the 'elevator', as Herz calls it. Plus, he's so used to stairs by now that it feels weird not to use them when they're there.

LEISURELY PACES ARE FOR SQUARES normally he could totally roll his way there in minutes, but at the moment the thought of rolling makes him want to vomit, so yes, thank you for that, Lily. You are so considerate.]

That is actually a good question, though. He still isn't quite sure, so he gets a puzzled head shake and a shrug of his shoulders-- the head shake is cut short though, as it doesn't do wodners for the whole nausea thing.]

[It takes him a moment to realize she's staring, though he stares back with big eyes once he notices. He's a bit curious about why everyone thinks being quiet is such a bizarre thing-- maybe other people are just really loud here? He doesn't know.

[Yeah hi completely oblivious to anyone who thinks that is weird. He finds the silence perfectly comfortable, actually-- it takes a special kind of situation to feel awkward with being quiet.

He holds up six fingers for her; three on both hands. He himself is a bit surprised by the number; he hasn't stayed any more than a few days in one spot since he left Outset, let alone nearly a week. It's a very strange and unsettling thing for him.]
