An encounter

So, I am sitting in the food court drinking a coffee and reading for class, and these two young women come up to me.

They're girlish, one sporting a grunge look and the other teen-elegant in a pea coat with a button on the lapel. I can't tell what it says but I detect colors that remind me of the Mexican flag and the word "international."

Enjoyable read.

I think I would be loathed to give the individuals too much credit. If such a sentiment gives you wholeness, we all need to manufacture our own equilibrium, from smoking and video games to ice cream and gods, music to knitting, we all have our methodology, and seldom can it have its full intoxicating richness if it isn't shared and thus authenticated.

For example, i feel compelled to tell you that aside from watching French films, I'm pretty sure a book is as good as a girlfriend I've decided, for digesting conversations from, that rich glow of excitement and surprises, and is also cheaper to take to other countries on holidays. Unless you use Ryan Air, where they probably charge a culture tax at customs.

this is lovely.

I once had a woman approach me at the train station when I was sitting on a railing.
she said I looked like a perched and colorful bird and that I struck her eye.
She almost made a friend, but she proceeded to ask me if I knew Christ, and I asked her if she
meant did I know him personally.
She then said, yes, of course, I do, he's my best friend...
