I hate my computer. There is something bad on it. Something very bad but everytime I do a virus scan, spyware scan or try to do anything to get rid of that something bad, I get blue screen of death and my comp restarts itself. I've tried Norton and several other programs to get rid of this thing and it just won't die

It might not be free, but Stop Sign is supposed to be AWESOME. (One of my roomates has it.) Careful of the Geek Squad - I had heard that they charge about $100 an hour.

did you try re-starting in Safe mode and then running the virus program? I had something similar happen and that was the only way to fix it. Also try removing any programs that your not using anymore or any spyware. If you go into the add/remove programs thing you can see if there's anything on there you didn't install and get rid of it. You can also just go through the start menu and windows explorer and delete stuff. Just be careful when you delete things cause I deleted some program files that you know made windows run properly and didn't know it.

I'll ask my old roommate about the Geek Squad. She used to work at the Best Buy in Danvers as the "tech mommy" for them.

the first question I should have asked was Mac or PC. If PC try the above, if Mac I have no idea what to do cause those things aren't supposed to get viruses and shit.

It is a PC and thanks a bunch. I'm going to try that becuase nothing else seems to be working. Glad you had fun in Vegas by the way.
