Unfortunately, yes. It's fairly popular here in South Korea, and often a 'get to know you' question that Koreans ask foreigners is whether or not they're familiar with the show. Some participants do a nice job of describing what it's like to be an expat in Korea while others ... well, Djamilya (자밀라) completely ruins any hope it has of being a watchable show.
I usually like Korean electronica, but I'm going to pass on this one. I'd rather avoid anything that reminds me of Misuda/Chat With Beauties.
Oh I've heard about her, wasn't she kicked off for supposedly being too sexy or something on the show? I don't really find her pretty, and something about her eyes makes her look old imo.
Yes, she was kicked off after a Korean feminist group (groups?) protested that her actions reinforce the stereotype of women as sex objects. However, she was brought back to the show after ratings dropped following her departure. She knows that acting like a brainless sex object will get her popularity, so she plays it up as every chance she gets.
