Hiatus from Hell Survival, pt 2.11

I decided to take the night off from watching the next episode because I want to bask in the beauty that is "Playthings."  And by beauty, I mean the prettiness.  I downloaded no less than 15 (fifteen!) possible 22mm's, the vast majority of them being Sam.

Yep, Sam was mega-pretty in this episode.  From his first scene, looking for Ava,

Ha! I love that your 22mm are both ass shots. I wonder, though, as tight as that denim shirt is, how it didn't rip apart when Sam curled up into his pillow. If ever there was a shirt Jared could Hulk out, that would be it.

Oooh, that first shot, I really like that one. I made a note of that one when I watched today. That green sweater really brings out his eyes in a lovely way.

Yeah, I'm pretty much an ass-girl, and this episode just screamed for ass shots. I think the denim shirt probably had a bit of lycra-spandex in it. (Yes, I watch too much tv. But I'm ever so thankful that most of their clothes (even cotton) contain a hint of stretchiness.)

Yep, we need to see more of the green shirt.

I did like this episode, even if it pulled the rabbit surprise where Sam starts wanting to save everyone so maybe he can be saved - there could have been a little foreshadowing to this in a previous ep, but I don't remember it and went "huh?"

But it was good because Sam dives in and does Big Damn Hero.

And I want that dollhouse.

The amazing Jerry Wanak said in the Season 2 Companion that they tried to contract to have one built, but it would have cost $30,000. His crew said, "We can build it." So they did. I just love that story.

You know, they still have that dollhouse in storage. They tried giving it to a hospital for children, but it's too big-6 feet long and 3 feet wide! Still, I'd find room for it!

The one thing I always wanted for Christmas but never got as a child was a dollhouse. (But I never really resented it, because I got other stuff, and life doesn't always give you what you want.) Years later, I mentioned it my mom that I'd always wanted a dollhouse; and she replied, "And it broke my heart that I couldn't give you one."

(Well, it's nice to know that my mascara appears to be resistant to tears. Oops, maybe not.) ;`)

I love that shirt too! I just signed a petition to bring back Sarah Blake (I'm not that big a fan of her, but someone asked me to, and I'm not opposed to it.) Perhaps we out to start a petition to bring back that denim shirt. :D
