I miss playing jazz. As much as I hate the rigid definition of "jazz" used by so many people I went to school with and met in jazz clubs, I do miss just sitting around playing and sometimes re-imagining standards. I think I found a singer who shares my looser interpretation of the word "jazz" and wants to reinvent some standards, but we still have

don't feel like logging in at the moment, so play guess who. You really NEED to start publishing. Not on internet forums, but in books and magazines, etc. You have a LOT to say and other people want to hear it and you will get Paid for it!!!! And while you're at it, get a credit card and use it for Target and the HEB and pay it off each month so you can start racking up some airline points..... But seriously start publishing, You need a publicist..... Don't wait until you have a doctorate. Start now.. Expand this article, and send it into a Jazz magazine, It will get published.
