My Uncle Frank has been dead just over a year, but I'm happy to report that our family is tighter than ever. Here are some sayings, rules, thingies, and phrases that the kids have picked up from me over the last year. I'm hoping the good outweighs the bad, but sometimes I definitely worry.

Ohhhh Steph. How I long for thee!!

No singing at the table? That's totally a Sullivan thing too. It's a little varied, like "Got you on a 501, rule breaking, no singing at the table!"

I also heartily endorse no sending naked pictures of yourself in any medium.

Keep up the good work, you good in-charge!

No singing/dancing/humming at the table was a big rule at my house too(:

Oh my gosh, the nakie pictures are soooo bad and such a big deal! Did you know that if a minor sends a nude picture of themselves to someone else they can be charged with trafficing child pornography and get serious jail time?

I didn't! I feel like there should be an awareness society for this. Let's make up a title.

The Society to Tell Kids Not to be Stupid and/or Keep Your Pants On!! When i have kids I'm thinking of stitching a sampler to hang by the front door that says "Keep it in your pants!"

I love you so very hard. Seriously. You are mah HERO.
And sometimes singing and dancing should be allowed at the table, although perhaps not ON it. Just saying. ;)

The Senegalese eat with their hands.

But they don't have dinner tables.

Does that make them pigdogs, pigs, or dogs? (Don't call them dogs unless you REALLY hate eating with hands - Muslims don't like that...)

::miss you!!::

The Sengalese get to do whatever they want, but American kids need to learn not to eat noodles with their hands (:
