I almost took the opposite picture this weekend of a gas station that closed way back when gas was still 1.19 per gallon (the prices were still up on the sign).

What's even crazier is that I still have records from when I first started driving (my dad had us all track our mileage every time we filled up so we would notice anything weird going on with the car). Gas was. . .

. . . 99 cents/gallon.

Yikes. But at least you're not driving a diesel, like I am. :P The better mileage can't cancel out the price difference for much longer.
