I like the class/path set up more than I like class/prestige class. It reminds me of the Kits from 2.0, which I found to be better written and more appropriate/less power-gamey than Prestige Classes (which I still enjoyed somewhat, there were just so many of them).
I also like the races. They remind me of 2.0 races (or Star Wars d20). I prefer a solid grouping of bennies as opposed to some sort of induced balance of benefits and penalties.
(Of course, I also preferred the basic class/professional class/prestige class set up of d20 Modern/Future to 3.0/3.5 too...)

Other then that, Combat seems to flow a bit easier.
