L.J Smith has been one of my favorite authors ever since I was a teenager. While I freely admit that Joss Whedon helped me craft characterization and dialogue, my writing style is largely based off of L.J. Smith. Don't insult Sailormoon jsut becaue some people are stupid about it. ;p Usagi may be a squishie, but she also kicks an amazing amount of ass. Being a girly gal with pretty wings did not stop her from not only STOMPING Galaxia but then REDEEMING HER. XD

Also this author doesn't know much about kitsune. There's a certain way they tend to appear and neglecting the cultural nuances about what these fox spirits ARE and how they WORK is typical whitey ~*w e e a b o o*~ bollocks.

For an example of characters who fit into traditional "LO, IT ARE KITSUNE" appearance tropes: Gin Ichimaru of Bleach (his ^_^ face and pale hair ans causing havoc), Chin Yisou of Saiyuki (same there, plus some feminine cues in his speech and body language), and Medicine Seller of Ayakashi and MoNoNoKe (pale hair, he doesn't go ^_^ but he does have facial markings that are fox-y, and his manner of dress mixes male and female signals liberally). In the first Vampire Diaries trilogy it wasn't exactly "Love always makes people into better people" sort of thing, but more of the heroine growing up and realizing what she had. Stefan, the vampire boy, always had been a good person: he was the younger son and the "Good" son while his older brother Damion was the rogue and the vagrant who brought shame onto the family ( ... )
