So, he was carrying a plate of fresh made cookies -Phale's baking not his own- as he made his way up to the office.
Knocking on the door, he waited to be bid to enter.

So, why did Wilson have this sudden, nagging feeling of doubt? Maybe it was the kitten plates on the wall.
Shaking himself out of his thoughts, he smiled politely and stepped on through the door.
"Good morning and I'm well thank you. I'm Dr. James Wilson, one of the faculty here," he introduced himself, shifting the plate to his left hand so that he could present his right. "I heard you were going to be with us in the interim while Dean Washburn is out and I wanted to stop by and say hello."
