I got 12 roses... from my dad.
Which was wicked sweet.
But he's my dad!
Oh well - hopefully next year.

I think that's nice...nobody gave me flowers. Though my dad hooked me up with some quarters for laundry when I saw him yesterday. He shows his love with change.

But seriously, I know in a lot of ways getting flowers from someone "special" would be preferable, but hey, there are lots of people without fathers to give them flowers...or fathers who are not nice to them...etc., etc. I know it's hard to have perspective sometimes, but it can help on bummer days like this one.

Wow, I know how you feel..I got stuff from MY dad...talk about...just...no! Girl getting stuff from dad is kinda nice...but a GUY!?! Thats just pathetic...oi. :(
