Why Hikaru no Go is the way it is (and just the way it should be.)

I finished watching the Hikaru no Go anime just yesterday (I ditched studying for it, and it was so worth it. I cried so much.) I just finished the manga this morning, and I decided to have a look at bookshop's LJ, which always proves entertaining, and came across this post. reading this reminds me of the many hours I spent in front of my laptop watching and crying.. :( and going why isn't there more of the anime?? D=

Oh although that saying, it ended on a good note that left most of the questions answered and it was a conclusion which left the viewer content. Or well thats how I felt. |D

I haven't finished the manga though... >.<;

yes..as the ending is merely the beginning for them.

Wow, great meta. Even though I was saddened by Sai disappearing, I think the way the mangaka did it was masterful and touching.

I'll have to point people here if we're discussing the series. :)

I absolutely adore Hikaru no Go, and I'm happy that I can contribute to its wonderful fandom even if it's just by doing something as simple as posting my thoughts on the series. (And everyone was saddened by Sai's disappearance! I spent the next two volumes going "Gimme back my Sai!" whenever there was a panel of Hikaru without him. Oh woes.)
