hippocampus means seahorse. It's the part of the brain that enables us to form new memories. (The Memento illness was damage to the hippocampus, and according to my textbook, you can remember that you're injured, and strong emotions will register and "stay".) It's not exactly what Hatori does, but close enough that I think it's neat. Then again, I just think Hatori's neat.

. . . not really, no. ^^ My drafts stay very, very close while I shred them and angst over them. Just sending one off to 'the girl' (one of my best friends IRL, who's done most of the editing work on my long Furuba pieces) has been known to get me all twitchy. :/
Um . . . it rains a lot. (I was going to say, "there's sex in it", but I figure that goes without saying from my calling it 'lemonesque' all the time.) No serious spoilers, sorry. ^^
