I don't much like research--never acquired the knack for doing it seriously. Reason #512 or so why I didn't go to grad school, probably. (And also why my mother would be ashamed of me if she were that type of person--my inability to use a research library effectively should be a killing offense in a librarian's offspring

Nope, no connection to the eyeball. (I think eyeballs are a category of their own for me. I just get squicked, PERIOD. No research for eyeballs 'cause I'm never ever ever going to write about them in detail.)

. . . yes, thinking about the live-action Boogiepop Phantom still makes me ill.

The artery research, on the other hand, makes me feel all sentimental . . . and I just had the temptation to cut that chunk out of Ceremony of Innocence and send it (anonymously?) to the teacher who REFUSED to grasp why I needed to know that much detail. *rolls eyes* Gack, that was annoying.
