Thank you! (And thank you for saying so. ^^; I seem to be getting more stressed about it, not less, which is...awkward, what with it now being on the internet forever. Oh, brains.)
Ha ha--I can't tell you how many times I've gone, "OMG, what the F*** did I write and post to the internet?!!!" ("Youji's Omelette," anyone? Crikey.) Believe me, I know that feeling well. ^_^
I finally got to read this, and I feel that you did a wonderful job in keeping both Georgia and Shaun in character. The thing I like about the smut you write is that you always take the characters' personalities and feelings into consideration; and this fact is what makes any kink or whatever seem extremely plausible. In some PWPs I've read (and I don't classify this as a PWP, just to be clear on that), it could be any two characters; but in your fic, it's always Georgia and Shaun, or Rin and Haru; their specific personalities show through in everything they do, and as I'm reading it, I can't imagine it being anyone else; and that makes all the difference, as far as I'm concerned

Thank you so much! *hugs hard* Hearing that definitely helps.
I've finally stopped fretting over it quite so much (by virtue of not thinking about it as much, which always takes several days), but I'm not sure I'm going to hit the point of being actually comfortable about it. (It's so bizarre to feel uncomfortable about having written something when I'm not ashamed of it or anything. Brains are weird.)
It makes me sad that so many people--mainly people who don't read or write smut at all, I think--don't understand that sex says so much about characters, because sometimes it's such a good vehicle for character study. Even if it's mostly writing about the physical dynamic, just knowing that the characters involved are enjoying it is much less interesting than knowing why they enjoy it.
A couple of years ago at Casual Job, sex scenes came up (in the context of movies, where I admittedly do usually find them gratuitous), and I said something about liking sex scenes best if they involve dialogue that tells you something, and IIRC most
