There's a reason why my operating systems languish without updates (sometimes literally without a single one) between reinstalls, even though Linux makes it dead easy and you don't have to back everything up before running updates unless you're really paranoid. That reason is that I'm really paranoid about my data

Hope all goes well; and this has reminded me that I really should back up my data asap, since my computer is prone to fits of random crashing lately.

My computer currently remains without a name, although I've had him for almost two years. I probably should look into that. :\ For some reason, I just haven't connected with this one the way I did with the ones I *did* name; and their names just came spontaneously. I dunno.

Garcia was very good to me, so I hope Mahir will be also! (If we hadn't named a kitten Claudia, there might have been more competition, but I've been wanting to name something for Mahir for a while, and this seemed like a good choice.)

I think it's rather weird that I'm quite convinced that my poor nameless computer is a "he" and yet I have no idea what his name is. ;)

LOL, I've started naming stuff too. My laptop is 'Greymalkin' because his case is grey, and my desktop is Spike after Snoopy's brother (my previous desktop was named Snoopy).

I've yet to name my tablet though. Nothing is coming at present.
