semi-random thoughts on Rin and Shigure

This post is basically some notes I scribbed down throughout the day, so it's more a stream-of-consciousness thing than a thought-out argument of any kind. I'm still wrapping my head around Rin and Shigure's relationship, and this is what I came up with today. (A bit of it connects to things I've said before, so bear with me.) Spoilers through

Shigure, on the other hand, offers her a sort of refuge in his very lack of kindness to her.

I would never have thought of that, but now that you say it, it makes a huge amount of sense.

I'd never thought of it before, but I think now it's a key part of my pet theory. ^^
