Takaya on Rin's hair

*laughs* Has Takaya-sensei *ever* commented on Rin without mentioning the effort it takes to draw her hair? I'm reading Tokyopop's ch. 72 ( the vol. 13 preview), and Takaya's first side note includes: " . . . At first, I thought of giving Rin short hair, but then I said to myself, 'When I think of a horse, I think of the mane blowing in the wind ( Read more... )

I'll bet she was secretly relieved when Akito chopped it off. (If that wasn't her reason behind it...evil Takaya-sensei. XD)

Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if that had something to do with it (esp. after she said that she'd created Rin's ch. 108 wardrobe because she didn't have time to put in her usual effort on Rin's clothes).

If Rin had had short hair all along, I wonder how the dynamic between her and Akito would've been expressed--Akito being so bloody hung up on the visual similarity between Rin and Ren . . .

i'd like to think that if takaya hadn't given rin long hair, she wouldnt have given it to ren either, so that she could use some other feature to make them similar, visually.

i'm in love with the look that yuki and tohru exchange after his confrontation with his mother. it says so much without any words at all..

Rin's hair and clothing is so difficult for Takaya.. ^^ *giggles* I'm glad she gave Rin long hair, even if it gets chopped off later. It really does fit for a horse. It's her mane. ^^ And the visual similarities between her and Ren are really interesting. I don't doubt that part of the reason why Takaya had Akito chop off Rin's hair was because of how much trouble it was.. xD

I think it's just friends-locked on the community, so if you add it you should be able to access the scans . . .
