It's very hard to say you're a Furuba writer and *not* have people assume you're writing slash. I imagine that's why you say you write Rin; if you say you write Haru, everyone assumes you mean "having hot sex with Yuki". ^^;;

*laughs* Oh dear--there've been several, I'm afraid. Most of them have been somewhat in the vein of attempting to explain to people (people I haven't seen for a while, and generally not in fandom) why I wanted to give it a try, and how it evolved from "I wonder if I can write a decent sex scene" into the 50-odd page ball of angst and catharsis it is today. *^^*

Also, I think I've just started to enjoy the looks on people's faces when I drop it blithely into conversation. I kinda have this innocent look and reputation, see . . .
