Furuba vol. 12 is in my hands. ^^ Here's a sign of true love--I'm so excited about having it, despite having it in Japanese and having read two translations, that it makes up for nothing else being in (no Death Note 2, no Hot Gimmick, no NANA . . . ). This is one of my four favorite volumes in the series (8, 12, 14, and 18). And the "in the

I was explaining to someone else who I got into the Furuba manga (as opposed to just the anime), that even though Rin comes off incredibly bitchy in this volume, she has her reasons we just have to be patient and read what they are. You've spoiled me in that respect, I think.

I really wish Tokyopop would stop *adding* material. It happens often enough to be distracting, and that's just the instances I notice. >.< Have you seen this blog? Sometimes he does a close examination at the significant changes they make, when they change the meaning or just invent lines (there's a list of links to the Furuba material in the sidebar). I've been finding it pretty interesting.

I'd translate the second line of Haru's you cite as "I thought I understood everything about you. Did I miss hearing your most important cry?" There's nothing about complacency, as far as I can tell.
>Why isn't *everyone* reading this series? *_*
Beats me.
(And thanks for your kind words about my Furuba translation posts.)

Err... Yea, Tokyopop seems to do poor on the translations now... or all of the sudden change something... I never knew that Tohru said "cat-san" when referring to Kyo as the cat, or "rat-san". They made her say it that way in the last volume, "horse-san" too. It bothered me, lol... Don't ask why. :o But whenever I read the volumes online, then read the actual book that Tokyopop translated, there's alot of differences. :\ Well, at least they are stranslating them for us, eh?
