026; last icon post of the year + icon progression

ICON PROGRESSION 2013
+ a tiny icon batch.

JANUARY.

It was an amazing month for me. I wanted to make icons all day and I was starting to experiment
with light and easy compositions. Also I tried to manage text, wich is the hardest thing for me.

FEBRUARY.

Deep blue tones were my favs. These icons were for a mood coloring challenge, so I overused blue and muted tones,
wich were the best ones for this amazing movie ♥.

MARCH.

Light. Light everywhere. I just loved light textures so much and I still do. Light is my second-name lol.
But overall, very simple icons. Wich doen't mean I like them less. Oh, and a lot of texture use :)

APRIL.

This was very challenging and fun, because my great weakness is text. I spent a lot of time making all these.
Now I can see that I use the same font in almost every icon. I really liked that font, but I should've used
others. I used the most popular quotes of the show.

MAY.

Okay, I enjoyed a lot this month. Only two entries but I really like some of these icons.
I found out what I like the most about iconing, wich is cropping. I love to make weird and
creative crops. I just love it :D

JUNE.

Most of my icons are pale/muted. I wanted something different and make some of them vibrant and give
them more life. I'm really satisfied with the overall result.

JULY.

Muted tones and obsure crops everywhere! Simple but I like them.

AUGUST.

And then theotherayn appeared on my icon radar and she inspired me to make most of the grungish-dark icons.
Oh, and textures are a very important part of this batch.

SEPTEMBER.

Came back from work with lot of time. More creative crops, and muted tones. Trying to use more
textures and make them more visible.

OCTOBER.

Dark orangish icons with dark shadwos and creative crops. I'm really satisfied with those.
Also, I started to make something more texty. I'm not giving up with text yet! :D

NOVEMBER.

Text again. I'm really trying it! I'm still not good at it, but I hope I will improve the next year! :D
And complex icons are not my thing either, but I'm experimenting, with I hope with good results!

DECEMBER.

I'm not sure what I'm trying to do now. I just want to make my icons more eye-catching,
but I really hope to be better the next year!
