i just got back from a week in MS to visit some relatives~ it was suuuper fun! i missed MS a lot, and was glad to go back with a camera- even though we didn't really go see much [and i didn't really take too many pictures because i was distracted]. so i'll throw a few artsier ones in here- the rest aren't really worth looking at. they're more snapshots than anything. i'll probably throw them up in my regular journal [cryth.livejournal.com] later tomorrow. :3
old oxford cemeterryyy. IF I HADN'T TOLD YOU YET, I LOST MY FAVORITE SUNGLASSES OVER THERE. probably directly in the spot the sun is shining. I LOST THEM AND THEY WERE MY FAVORITES. they were my babies ;____; i will forever be sad about this, i don't care how petty it is. :c
he laments my sunglasses, too.
the square. so boring. SO BORING. old lady clothes mainly, but two very cool bookstores, which were the only redeeming things aside from the random statues.
also in the square
somewhere on faulkner's property
also faulkner's property
he was pretty cool :D he wrote on his walls like i do.
tortured closeup
then we went to a zoo/park thing in the middle of nowhere. VERY cool place.
lol, this was literally a watering hole for buffalo, zebra, longhorn cattle, and some water buffalo. lulz. somewhere, a couple miles out, also lives a wildish clydesdale and a camel. they're like, totally buddies. i so saw them hanging out when we went on the tractor tour ride thing.
one of the 5 white buffalo on the country is chilling in the background. he's not actually white, but who cares, it's a dang buffalo. they rule.
and to end, have a cute buffalo baby!! there were so many running around, they were terribly cute. we got to feed the buffalo, it was awesome and almost scary. hell yeah.
as always, i do have art lying around, somewhere. i actually haven't drawn in a long time, though. i feel rusty T__T
