The number of drawings in a given year has thinned out drastically now that I'm in the home stretch, so I'm going to be posting images more frequently. The entirety of 2002 got lost in the gap between pages 500 and 525, for example.
I'm including page 524 as a bonus since I like it a lot. The shading turned out much nicer than usual.

Yeah, reference is useful sometimes.

I'd even say it's useful all the time, though it can be time-consuming to gather and isn't always in a convenient format. It took me a while to find the right samurai picture since most of the ones I found on Google Image Search were fully armored and I wasn't going for that at the time, and I had to draw while sitting at the computer. Now that I've started working digitally, the "at the computer" part is no longer a barrier.
