Melbourne is lovely. I've traveled all over the world and I can say this is my favourite place to be. Lovely people, a lot of enriching culture, multiculturalism, high living standards for all people (I'm English and there's such a divide between rich and poor in the UK; we don't have that in Australia), amazing education opportunities. I couldn't recommend it more. But you're a NY girl. What a great place to be! What is prompting *considering* a move?

NY is a great city...I live about an hour outside of NYC. But I went to school there and it is an amazing city.

I want to go somewhere new and live a different life. Plus, I've always had a love of Australia.
