Thanks for the shoutout, and for the lovely things you said about the story. Though I haven't written much Due South of late, it was fun reminding myself what I loved about the series and the pairing.

No. Thank YOU for the story. It really is a gorgeous piece of writing.

I read the notes first and had a moment of sad when you said it wasn't porny. But by the end I was wondering why I even asked for it. Because what I got was such a perfect insight into their relationship that adding sex would have seemed wrong.

You really need to keep writing these guys. Please?

Aw, thank you for the lovely words, I could really use them today, you've made me feel a lot better. And your fic makes me feel good too. You have a great gift for writing sympathetic characters that readers can identify with, with their feelings and thoughts - they ring true and real and complex. And horny.

Well I'm glad I could make you feel better but all I did was tell it like it is. :-)

I remember my first few stories and how patient you were with me. And most of all how you gave me advice that made sense in a way that sticks. Looking back at them makes me cringe a bit. So you should get extra warm fuzzies when you like what I write because you're a big part of the development. And you've always been a writer I look up to as well as an awesome friend.
