Yes, I've been absent for an age. I've been busy fighting suckiness and working and skating and following Penguins. There's not much time left in a day after all that stuff.

Now I'm actually surprised when anything gets behind him. (Insert slashy Max comment here.)

1. Flower never shuts out Max.
2. Flower's favorite saying #1 - "Max can slapshot me anytime he wants."
3. Flower's favorite saying #2 - "I am ready for any puck that comes my way. The more pucks the better."
4. Max calls Flower his little puck-magnet.
5. Max's motto - One good puck deserves another.

Sad, pathetic hockey joke, but I couldn't resist.

(A goalie is said to have five holes. They are over each shoulder and next to each leg. the five hole is between his legs.)

MAF's little bit of facial hair or "man hair" as he calls it is growing on me.

Those French Canadian guys are a furry bunch, eh? Makes Flower look like a boy in comparison. Man hair is the funniest thing. When did he come up with that one?

They are just a big ball of hair. I'm not exactly sure when he said it. It was sometime around the beginning of the playoffs. Randomly, I had the radio on, and they played the clip. It's one of the two Playoff Beard Clips here. I'd post the direct link, but my internet is being so slow right now.

I just heard the news of the final.
My condolences. So very very close. Still I hold up hope for Canucks/Penguins final for next year!

Oh that would be awesome!

What's worse about this loss is that I made a bet with a Red Wings fan. If the Pens won, he had to scrimmage in my Fleury jersey, but instead I now have to wear his Wings jersey for a whole public session.

The shame.
