My job has been made immeasurably more difficult over the last few days by the fact that some idiot in a Quarantine station cannot do their job properly

It's obvious that the usual quarantine rules aren't being upheld. if they were, all the staff would wear overalls and rubber boots. they would have to have change into them on arrival and out of them before they leave. Visitors would be given disposable coveralls for their clothes and shoes. I think it's pretty clear that none of this was done.
the thing about predparture quarantine is that they usually teat horses on arrival there and if they don't test positive for anything, or show signs of illness, they're cleared to leave.
Arrival quarantine is longer and more strict, in theory anyway.
Yeah, Pammy is due in about 3 weeks, but I don't expect problems. We live on the side of the country from the outbreak and all horses that have been transported here since the arrival of the first horse have been teated. All negative. Our travel ban has been lifted and things will continue as normal here.
