oh god, I don't read Hetalia fanfiction anymore but I had to read this!

I love this pairing and I was hoping you'd write it someday! ♥

this is lovely and its so beautiful and eloquent and I love it ♥ I love all the passages of time and how Antonio thought Francis was a girl (oh Tony ♥)

and you mentioned Holland, which was great since I think most people don't know much about that part of history ;w;

and yeah I loved this and then Antonio asking Francis if he was still his brother was so heartbreaking and sweet ;w; and aww Tony ♥

in short I love this ;w; ♥

Wow, this was just breathtaking. I've read several France/Spain fics, but none so involved in the history of their pasts and how affected their relationship would have been as a result. I think you absolutely nailed it in terms of getting all those emotions across. It was just beautiful.

This is so very lovely and an insightful view of the relations two neighboring nations must have shared throughout a very long history. I enjoyed the fact that they are still fairly close, despite the conflicts and differences, because I think that fits well with both the series canon and history as well as their personalities. Thanks for sharing, I always enjoy reading your work!

One thing that is central to my headcanons about the Hetalia nations is that they don't really hold grudges. Wars and conflicts happen, then after they're resolved they forgive each other. If you've lived with the same people for over 1000 years it'd only be natural that you'd have fights and then get over them. If not, every country would have a vendetta against everyone else. And I guess that's why I view France and Spain as closer than brothers, despite the fact they've had their differences.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for the lovely feedback!
